About Denmark
Denmark is one of the eighteen destinations we place students in. Many programmes include a paid placement semester, which offsets a chunk of the cost and gives you local references. A counsellor who works on this country will give you the current picture on a free call, because the rules here change more often than a page like this can keep up with.

Part-time work rules change with each visa policy update. Confirm the current limit before you rely on it in your budget.
Plan your budget as though you will earn nothing in the first two months. Finding a job takes longer than anyone expects, and a visa officer will not accept part-time income as proof of funds either.
Applying to Denmark
When to start
Work backwards from the intake month. Applications close roughly three months before, and the visa takes another six to twelve weeks after that. For a September intake, the sensible starting point is about six months earlier.
Intakes: September, February
